One place that put the world in perspective for me was the backwoods. Watching the stars come out at as darkness falls upon the woods around us. Hoping to maybe catch a glimpse of the Northern lights playing across the night sky.
This scene is reminiscent of hiking among the evergreens atop a small ridge in Katmai, a wildlife preserve in southern Alaska.
